Event: Wine Tasting Evening
Sunday 17th November 2002

The wine tasting evening took place on 16th November. Teams had the chance to try 5 different wines and thrash out the country of origin, price, alcohol content etc. The evening made for an interesting science experiment.

We proved that:

1) Members of Southend Drama take a far bigger interest in drinking wine than knowing where it came from.
2) Price doesn't always equal quality.
3) 75% of Southend Drama Society members wouldn't know the difference between Rioja and Blue Nun.
4) The Lawlers always win.

A big "Thank You" to John and Juliet for hosting another successful social event for us!

Turcaret: Update

We are now two weeks away from the production. The director, cast and crew are all very pleased with the way the rehearsals are going. Tickets are available by e-mail at members@southenddrama.co.uk.
